This car seat makes the other two I bought previously look like crap! Initially I had bought the Safety First Alpha and Omega. It seemed ok at first, however it was rather hard to install and currently it’s sort of slanting to the left. This is why I also bought a cheaper Cosco Scenera from Walmart as a back-up car seat. However this seat is rather hard to get tight and it moves a lot front to back.
So I decided to look for a new car seat for my daughter. I read review after review to decide which car seat was perfect for my baby. This is when I came across the Britax Marathon 70 G3. I was very satisfied with the description and the reviews. So I decided to buy this car seat for my child. Now I am really glad that I did buy this car seat.
I was very concerned about the size and the installation of the seat, however once the seat came I was relieved. The seat fits perfectly in my car. Also I can easily move the front seats back as much as I like. This was a huge selling point for me! I want to keep my daughter rear-racing as long as I can, so I needed it to fit nicely. Other than that the installation was also very easy as the instructions on the manual were pretty easy to understand.
I also love the material of this seat as it feels nice and comfortable. The seat is also padded nicely. The velcro on the sides is also nice since it holds the straps up so they don’t get tucked under my daughters bottom. I also like the padded material that goes behind the buckle since this way the straps won’t ding into my daughters legs. So this is a complete unit of comfort for a baby while you are out driving!
Overall I am really pleased with this product as it fits my requirements and protects my baby! If you are looking for a safe and comfortable car seat for your baby than this is what you need to get.
